Jeremy Byrd // CEO & Founder
Jeremy Byrd is the Founder and CEO of Nashville-based companies Elite Multimedia Productions, PixelFLEX, and J Byrd Productions.
Byrd founded Elite Multimedia, a live event production company specializing in audio, visual and lighting for corporate events, concerts and touring support, in 2003. Their impressive client roster includes Luke Bryan, Ice Cube, Alan Jackson, Cole Swindell, Juice Wrld, Chris Tomlin, Big Daddy Weave, The K-LOVE Fan Awards, ESPN Monday Night Football, Target, Nickelodeon, Levi’s, AT&T, University of Alabama-Birmingham and many more.
In 2011, Byrd recognized a need in the touring market for a unique LED screen that is extremely light weight, quick to set-up and easy to transport. He developed and patented the trendsetting FLEXCurtain which led to the founding of PixelFLEX, an award-winning developer, designer and manufacturer of solutions-based LED screens. Since its founding, PixelFLEX has developed a full line of FLEX series permanent install and rental/staging products that continue to revolutionize the LED industry.
With the success of both Elite Multimedia and PixelFLEX on his resume, Byrd is now looking to bring his innovative ideas to the world of streaming live video content. In March 2020, J Byrd Productions, a live event video producer and developer of original programming for streaming and broadcast networks, was formed. J Byrd Productions is currently partnering with select musicians across all genres to offer live streaming solutions that expands their audience reach and allows them to monetize their performance via digital tips and song requests.
Byrd was born and raised in Memphis, TN. His life-long passion for both music and audio, visual and lighting technology began early. At 13 years old, he purchased his first guitar from the local pawn shop. That same year, he began learning about sound systems as a volunteer at his home church. By the time Jeremy was 18, he was offered an internship doing sound and lighting for the Christian-based Student Life organization where he attended church camp as a child. What began as an internship quickly led to Jeremy’s position as Technical Director.
Byrd went on to work briefly for a local business designing sound, light and video for churches, but by the time he was a mere 23 years old, he decided to start his own company and Elite Multimedia was born. What began as small start-up out of his home in Memphis, TN, is now a multi-million-dollar corporation based out of a 50,000 square foot space in north Nashville.
Jeremy is passionate about all things related to music. He plays guitar, piano, harmonica, sings and writes songs. Jeremy is devoted to working with artists across genres to give them performance opportunities through his J Byrd Productions streaming platform. He loves boats (big time) lake life and just being on the water. Jeremy currently resides in Nashville with his biggest passion – his two sons.
